The Minneapolis Telecommunications Network (MTN) is a Public Non-profit Corporation (PNC).  The articles of incorporation authorize the corporation in 1992: (1) to promote the use of cable communication systems for community and public access in the City of Minneapolis; (2) to address the information and cultural needs of residents, businesses, non-profit organizations, and governmental bodies; (3) to regulate, control and manage dedicated public channels; and (4) to make recommendations on other franchise issues.
