(formerly CLUB: Cultivating Leadership in Urban Boundaries)
Youth do better when they can make good choices about the future. Station 17 Youth Programs teach youth of ages 13-18 years the skills they need, with practical activities in networking, skill building, career exploration and leadership development.
Youth in the programs visit area colleges and get hands-on training. They also get job readiness training in sessions of 8-12 weeks, in topics like auto restoration, music production and digital photography.
These programs are open to all youth but they are intended especially for youth who are underserved by traditional youth programs.
The programs are a partnership between Powderhorn Park Neighborhood Association (PPNA), Powderhorn Park Community Center, and Hennepin Powderhorn Partners.
