PPNA programs
Kidz Cafe
Powderhorn Park Community Center 3400 15th Avenue South
The purpose of Kids Café is to serve dinner to the youth every other Friday from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at Powderhorn Park. Many of our youth are homeless or rarely receive a nourishing meal or contact from a caring adult. The Kids Café will offer both. Different organizations and community residents will come and volunteer to serve the youth dinner that will already be prepared, interact with the youth and give them information on their organization or programs. This program is sponsored by Powderhorn Park Neighborhood Association and Augsburg Campus Kitchen.

Youth do better when they can make good choices about the future. Station 17 Youth Programs teach youth of ages 13-18 years the skills they need, with practical activities in networking, skill building, career exploration and leadership development.
Youth in the programs visit area colleges and get hands-on training. They also get job readiness training in sessions of 8-12 weeks, in topics like auto restoration, music production and digital photography.
