Coalition Updates

PPNA continues to contribute to coalition efforts for issues related to public safety, housing, and development. Here are a few coalition updates:

  • REACHTwinCities.org was recently launched through our partnership with the Lake Street Recovery Leadership Group. REACH is a platform for people to find information on the people, places, and projects focused on Racial Equity and Community health in communities affected by the uprisings.

  • The Housing Justice League recently launched its Anti-Displacement Agenda, which you can find and sign onto here.

  • The South Minneapolis Public Safety Coalition recently held a public meeting to answer the question “are we prepared for the summer?” Find the recap of that conversation and additional information on our blog.

  • Our Equity in Place Partners are working to ensure that the end of an eviction moratorium doesn’t result in a mass wave of evictions. We’re demanding that no evictions happen until all eligible Minnesotans receive rental assistance. Learn more and sign on in support here.
