PPNA and Powderhorn Park are thrilled to invite you to the Powderhorn Art Fair!  Shop hundreds of local and regional artists on the serene Powderhorn Lake, taste foods from local food trucks and enjoy exploring the Powderhorn community.

The popularity and vibrancy of the Powderhorn Art Fair are due largely to a fantastic array of artists, vendors, and activities.  It’s with excitement and gratitude we welcome you as a presenting artist or food vendor to the 28th Annual Powderhorn Art Fair; hosted by Powderhorn Park Neighborhood Association (PPNA) in collaboration with the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board.

MN SALES TAX INFORMATION

MN Sales Tax for non-wearable art is 7.775%. You are required to have a MN Tax ID number for selling at Powderhorn Art Fair. Also, we need a signed ST-19 form at check-in-you can download from our site. We’ll have some at entry.

SET UP & TEAR DOWN

For smooth traffic flow and safety, we have created a staggered check In, load In, check out and load-out schedule. We will have a traffic crew to assist you in this procedure.

Because of crowd size, safety and other related concerns; check-in/out times on Saturday and Sunday may vary slightly.  In case of delays we ask your patience.  Our principal goal is safely operating this event.

OVERSIZE VEHICLES 

What qualifies as an oversized vehicle?

Trucks greater than 3 tons, trailers and RVs.

Do I need a permit for overnight parking of my vehicle? 

You need a permit if you are an Exhibitors who plans to park on the street overnight with a truck greater than 3 tons, a trailers and an RV.  

How do I get a permit and how much does it cost?

You can get a permit from Ashley Bradford when you check in.  The permit won't cost you anything. You must display it on your dashboard when parked.

Food Vendor Check In & Load In:  7:00 AM TO 12:00 PM

  • All standard size vehicles move clockwise around the lake for load-in/load-out.

  • All oversize vehicles move clockwise for load-in and counterclockwise for load-out.

Main Exhibitors Check In & Load In: 12:00 TO 8:00 PM

  • All standard size vehicles move clockwise around the lake for load-in/load-out.

  • All oversize vehicles move clockwise for load-in and counterclockwise for load-out.

ALL VEHICLES MUST BE OUT OF THE PARK BY 8:30 PM

Main Exhibitors who cannot make the Friday Load In times can do so on Saturday morning from 6:30 to 8:30 AM

OVERNIGHTS & RE-ENTRY 

OVERNIGHTS

  • Park Police will be on site from 7 pm – 6 am Friday and Saturday.  Any items or property left on site are the sole responsibility of the artist. We recommend you take valuables off-site each night.  Powderhorn Art Fair assumes no responsibility in the event of loss or theft.

 

RE-ENTRY

  • Artist vehicles line up on WEST Side of 15th Avenue and traffic flows begins at 6:30 pm on Saturday and 5:30 pm on Sunday. 

  • Food vendor and oversized vehicles line up on EAST Side of 15th Avenue and traffic flows begins at 7 pm on Saturday and 6 pm on Sunday.

ALL VEHICLES MUST BE OUT OF THE PARK BY 9:00 AM
