How will feedback be used? Your answers will be anonymous but will help us provide insight to elected leaders, funders, and community organizations about how they can support our neighborhood. Answers will also inform PPNA’s advocacy work.

What does PPNA’s advocacy typically look like? PPNA uses a resource-centered platform to guide our advocacy work, meaning our advocacy is typically aimed at bringing resources into the community. We believe South Minneapolis deserves all the resources it needs to be a healthy community, which it currently lacks in areas like affordable housing, equitable development, and in areas that affect livability and safety. Sometimes this means advocating for policy changes to allow more community input, sometimes it’s advocating for budget allocations toward specific resources, and sometimes it’s working to imagine new resources.
