OUR OBJECTIVE
Convene a meeting of public and private leaders with responsibilities for safety, violence prevention, and restorative programs, services, and policies across the City and County to understand what degree of cross-institutional coordination exists, and what further coordination is possible.
GOALS
Secure participation from at least a dozen representatives, across public and private institutions, with oversight for safety, violence prevention, and restorative programs, services, and policies within the City of Minneapolis and Hennepin County.
Discuss and document the degree of existing cross-institutional coordination among safety, violence prevention, and restorative programs and services, and what further coordination is possible.
Align on perceived strengths and opportunities for deepening coordination of safety, violence prevention, and restorative programs, both from an institution and community standpoint.
Determine meeting participants’ interest and capacity to further define existing, and potential, points of coordination among safety, violence prevention, and restorative programs across the City and County.
