With our preparations underway for our unforgettable 35th Annual Powderhorn Art Fair celebration on August 1st and 2nd, as well as our electrifying 14th Annual Powderhorn Porchfest music festival on September 19th, we thought this would be the perfect time to tell you how helping others has been shown to have lasting positive effects on your well-being.

As we enter Spring and prepare for our Summer events, we are taking a moment to reflect on our remarkably beautiful MLK Celebration from January. Nearly 500 cherished neighbors joined us for a warm meal, family-fun activities, bountiful giveaways, and powerful performances by local musicians and spoken word artists. After much consideration, our decision to move forward with the celebration despite ICE’s overwhelming presence became a memorable moment of community love, gratitude, and solidarity

The end of the year is often filled with reflection, gratitude, and a desire to give back as a way to make a real impact in the lives of others. With the holidays fast approaching, following significant Federal Funding Disruptions and detrimental pauses to SNAP benefits, there will be no shortage of opportunities to show up for community this season.
