A South Minneapolis music festival featuring 12 local bands across 3 porches that transform into stages.

 

We’re thrilled to announce that we’re back on the block, in person, this year!  Powderhorn Porchfest is unique in its focus on celebrating local music and local foods. While dancing in the streets to jazz, blues, indie, and more you can enjoy sweet and savory delights from food trucks, drinks in the Reverie Beer Garden, and cool merch from local vendors.  Porchfest is free and fun for all ages!

Tickets

Preregistration and ticketing are closed.  Free tickets are available at the gates located at the intersections of 32nd & 34th Streets and17th Ave S. Minneapolis, MN.

 

Yes, you must get tickets this year.  Purchasing Mission Tickets supports PPNA’s advocacy work!  

Tickets will be available at the door, but if you're able to, please secure them ahead of time to help keep lines down and maximize fun for all!

 

COVID-19 Safety Protocol
Masks are required for guests, entertainers, staff and volunteers over 2 years of age (except when eating, drinking, performing, etc...use common sense).  Hand sanitizing stations are available throughout the festival.  Social distance.  Porchfest offers a large, outdoor space for you to spread out.  We’ve made sure to spread out amenities and vendors so this is even easier.  

Stay home if you’re sick.  We’ll use our ticketing system to support contact tracing, which we truly hope won’t be necessary because of the above.

What is Powderhorn Porchfest?

A handful of neighborhood music enthusiast spear-head this day-long festival right-down 17th Avenue between 32nd and 34th streets. It’s a family-friendly showcase of amazing local musicians who contribute to the eclectic and welcoming vibe Powderhorn is known for.

What do show proceeds support?

The show helps fund advocacy work in the Powderhorn community!  Read more about PPNA's advocacy work here.

Does it cost money to attend the show?

Admittance to Powderhorn Porchfest is free!  We ask you to get tickets so we can track attendance, etc.  You can use code 'PPFACCESS21' to opt-out of the Mission ticket (which supports our advocacy work).

What about parking and public transit?

There is parking on the side streets.  The 14 and 22 bus drop off near the show.  Find details about taking public transit here.

What happens if the weather is bad?

The show goes on...rain or shine!  In case of severe or dangerous weather we may cancel...but it's highly unlikely.

Can my band play at Porchfest?

Maybe!  Each stage is curated by community members.  Send your band information to Ashley Bradford at ashley@ppna.org so she can pass it onto the curators.
