A South Minneapolis music festival featuring 12 local bands across 3 porches that transform into stages.

 

Powderhorn Porchfest is unique in its focus on celebrating local music and local foods. While dancing in the streets to hip hop, blues, indie, and more you can enjoy sweet and savory delights from food trucks, drinks in the Reverie Beer Garden, and cool merch from local vendors. 

 

Porchfest is free and fun for all ages!

What is Powderhorn Porchfest?

A handful of neighborhood music enthusiast spear-head this day-long festival right-down 17th Avenue between 32nd and 34th streets. It’s a family-friendly showcase of amazing local musicians who contribute to the eclectic and welcoming vibe Powderhorn is known for. 

What do show proceeds support?

The show helps fund the Porchfest next year!  Donate to keep the FREE music and art flowing while paying artists for their time and talent.

Does it cost money to attend the show?

Admittance to Powderhorn Porchfest is free! 

What about parking and public transit?

There is parking on the side streets.  The 14 and 22 bus drop off near the show.  Find details about taking public transit here.  

What happens if the weather is bad?

The show goes on...rain or shine!  In case of severe or dangerous weather we may cancel...but it's highly unlikely.

Maybe!  Each stage is curated by community members.  Send your band information to Ashley Bradford at ashley@ppna.org so she can pass it onto the curators.
