LGBTQ+ Pride Month occurs in the United States to commemorate the Stonewall riots, which occurred at the end of June 1969. Check out events happening in and around the neighborhood below:
50th Annual Twin Cities Pride Festival & March

Loring Park
The 50th annual Twin Cities Pride Festival will be held at Loring Park in Minneapolis June 25 – 26, 2021 and will feature local BIPOC and LGBTQ+ vendors, food courts, a beer garden, and music stages.
Twin Cities Pride Festival is a CELEBRATION of the LGBTQ+ Community and ALL LGBTQ+ people and allies are welcome!
The Pride March Honoring Ashley Rukes is Sunday, June 26, 2022. Step Off Time is 11:00 am back on Hennepin! The March starts at 7th & Hennepin and proceeds down Hennepin to Spruce then into Loring Park.
As always, Twin Cities Pride Festival is FREE!

2nd Annual Peoples Pride
Saturday, June 25th from 1 to 7 PM
At the stage of Powderhorn Park
There will be free food and music, sports and games, a free clothing exchange, vendors, and more!
If you are interested: please bring clothes for the free clothing exchange, money for the various vendors or to tip our DJ.
Sports will include: Volleyball, softball, and frisbee. These will not be super organized or very competitive and occur throughout the event.
Please take your safety and the safety of others in consideration before attending this event. Please wear a mask or skip the event as necessary.
