Opportunities To Engage

  • Share your input on draft neighborhood traffic calming process by Jan. 31st. Find more information about the proposed traffic calming process and share feedback.

  • Comment on the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board Land Policy by March 17th. Read the policy here and comment here.

  • Participate in the City of Minneapolis Redistricting Process. Give your input on the redrawing City Council and Park & Recreation Board districts at a public hearing on Feb. 9th at 7PM or Feb. 24th at 4PM. Learn more and sign up to speak at a meeting here.

  • The Plastic-Free Challenge from Hennepin County will help you reduce your reliance on plastics, especially packaging and single-use plastics, by committing to actions that work best for your lifestyle and providing you support, motivation, and resources to form new habits. The Plastic-Free Challenge runs February 1 through 28. Learn more, sign up, and get ready to go plastic-free at hennepinplasticfree.ecochallenge.org.

  • The last day to submit an application to RentHelpMN is Friday, Jan. 28th, 2022. Apply for help today here: https://www.renthelpmn.org/

  • Mayor Frey reinstated the City wide mask mandate because of the surging, highly contagious omicron variant, everyone in Minneapolis businesses and areas of public accommodation must wear a mask. Read the regualation here.

  • COVID-19 vaccinations or negative tests required to enter food or drink establishments, ticketed events. Read more here. Read the FAQ for businesses here.

  • Hennepin County offers free COVID-19 vaccinations including boosters. Find more information and register at hennepin.us/vaccineregistration or call 612-348-8900.

  • Minnesota families whose 5- to 11-year-olds receive both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine in January and February are eligible to receive a $200 gift card. Complete the form here to claim your giftcard.
