Election Day is Tuesday, November 2. Make sure you get your absentee ballot in the mail on time or have a plan to vote in person. Check out a few resources to help you make plans to vote below.




Absentee Ballots
  • If you're voting absentee by mail in 2021, make sure your ballot arrives at your local elections office by Election Day (November 2).

  • Hennepin County recommends mailing your ballot no later than Tuesday, October 26 (one week before Election Day).

  • If you've missed the deadline to submit your ballot by mail, it can be returned in person on or before Election Day to your city or school district election office. Find out where you can drop off your ballot on this list (PDF) or this interactive map.
