Neighborhood associations like PPNA across the city receive some or all of their funding from the City of Minneapolis.

Earlier this year, the City announced changes to the funding as part of their Neighborhoods 2020 program guidelines. Collectively, Southside neighborhoods face a potential loss of 40% of funding in 2021, growing to an 80% cut by 2023. Read more about the demands of the Southside United Neighborhood Group here.

We urge you to submit a public comment on this proposal and reach out to your elected and appointed leaders at the City level. The public comment period ends Sept. 30, 2020.
