The mission of Rebuilding Together is repairing homes, revitalizing communities, rebuilding lives. When qualified homeowners are not capable of making needed repairs, we will coordinate the volunteers, skilled labor, tools, and supplies necessary to repair the homes. We also rehabilitate properties that house qualifying nonprofit organizations serving our community. We focus our efforts on seniors, individuals living with disabilities, veterans, and families with children, tailoring services to meet the needs of each individual homeowner. We provide our services at no cost to the people we help.
We recently installed an exterior ramp for Pat and Doug, a senior couple in Fridley. In her thank you note, Pat wrote, “There really aren’t enough words to say ‘thank you’ for the beautiful ramp. I really love it! It makes it so easy to come in and out of the house. I don’t have to lift my walker anymore, just roll it in and out. The guys that built it were just wonderful and I can’t believe how well they cleaned up after. Please let them know how much we appreciate them and if they are ever in the neighborhood, to please stop by and say hi!”
