Outdoor ice rinks at Minneapolis Parks are closed for the season

All Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) outdoor ice rinks are officially closed for the season. Long periods of warm weather this winter made it difficult to build ice and even if there were sustained below freezing temperatures forecasted, the sun is too strong this late into winter to build significant new ice.

The MPRB appreciates understanding and support from outdoor ice skaters, hockey players, and broomball teams as maintenance staff worked tirelessly on rinks during this unusual winter.

Ice Arenas

Parade Ice Garden offers open skating, open hockey, and pro's ice figure skating throughout the week. See below for links to the February schedules.

Northeast Ice Arena offers indoor ice rentals through early March.
