  • HomeHelpMN is offered through Minnesota Housing to help if you have fallen behind on your mortgage or other housing-related expenses due to the pandemic. Learn more and apply here. Note that the income cap is extended to $50,000/per year and the deadline has been lifted.

  • Minnesota has a streamlined application for benefits such as cash, food, emergency housing, and child care assistance. Learn more and apply here.

  • Minnesotans can order two test kits per home (for a total of four tests) at Order your free at-home rapid tests. The website includes information on at-home rapid testing, a video demonstration and FAQ on how to use the iHealth COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test, and a link to place orders with the state’s fulfillment partner, Care Evolution.

  • Revealing & Healing Histories: Racial Covenants Then and Now will premiere Monday, Sept. 26 at the Parkway Theater. This inspiring event will feature an educational bike tour, live performances, music, and the premiere of a new TPT series, Jim Crow of the North Stories starting at 5:45 p.m. The evening will look at how Minneapolis residents have responded to the rising awareness of racist covenants, redlining, and other forms of damaging segregation. The films and live performances will explore the history of systemic racism while lifting up Black resistance and resilience in the past as well as present-day changemakers looking to right historical housing injustices.
