HELP A NEIGHBOR IN NEED

Updated: Mar 30

Support the Renter Support Fund Today

The Renter Support Fund application is currently closed. Will you help us raise $23,544 by June 30 to reopen the program?

The Renter Support Fund seeks to improve housing stability by providing unrestricted, one-time grants of $900 to cost-burdened Minneapolis renters. Since 2019, 490 renters have received funds, benefitting over 1220 people who lived with selected renters at the time.

YOU can support the program by donating or volunteering!

  • Host a house party! You can party it up with your community to help raise funds for the program and build a network of solidarity.

  • Share your expertise. Do you have skills in grant writing, communications, public speaking, or more? We would love to partner with you as capacity allows.

YOUR ORGANIZATION can sponsor the Renter Support Fund!

Sponsor the Renter Support Fund at any amount, and help stabilize your community.

  • $981 can prevent eviction for one renter household

  • $675 is the average monthly cost of food for one household

  • $180 covers the average gas bill for a winter month

Sponsors will be recognized on PPNA’s website and social media, as well as in the 2023 Renter Support Fund Annual Report. See out our 2022 report HERE!

To learn more about donating to or sponsoring the Renter Support Fund, please contact Community Coordinator Julia Hobart at julia@ppna.org or 612-446-4661 (text/call).
