Renters: Eviction Protection Ends October 12th

Many Eviction Moratorium Off-Ramp protections end October 12th, but there are resources to help you stay in your home.

Beginning Oct. 12th landlords can file for eviction for nonpayment of rent unless you have a pending COVID relief application

You must have an application into a COVID Relief program to be protected from eviction until June 2022.   Tenants who apply through other rent/financial/emergency assistance programs that are not funded by specific federal laws are not protected under Minnesota’s phaseout rules.

File an application now to get help with rent & bills

Rent Help MN:  Apply for financial assistance with rent and bills online here.
